Looking ahead to the 2026 sunflower season.

We are so grateful for recent rain after the long hot and dry drought-like conditions that we experienced earlier in 2025. We realise how lucky we were to have a season last summer given the challenging growing conditions! Thank you to everyone who visited us at the start of the year. If you weren’t able to make it, we hope that you will be able to join us in 2026.

We have been busy behind the scenes preparing for the upcoming sunflower season. Cover crops went in over autumn and winter and we are resting a few of the paddocks from last summer. Seeding happened in early spring and we are just waiting patiently while the flowers grow. It is looking like a mid to late January season open, but as always we are just waiting to see what Mother Nature will bring in terms of the weather!
